Christopher P. Miner, of Cape May Court House, was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography, according to Cape May County Prosecutor, Jeffrey H. Sutherland.

This investigation stemmed from a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTip that revealed an unidentified subject, subsequently identified as Miner, downloaded and uploaded various images of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

On April 5, a warranted search was made at Miner’s residence, the prosecutor said.

Two terabyte HDD drives and one laptop computer were seized.

After further investigation, it was learned that Miner had used cloud storage services to store and upload Child Sexual Abuse Material.

On June 20, Miner turned himself into authorities and was processed and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center, pending court proceedings.
